CHAPTER NEWS

Fayette County Science Fair

February 1 2025

Some of our officers volunteered at the Fayette County Science Fair to help judge 4th grade through high school science projects. We had a blast and got to learn about some cool science! Look for information in coming years if you would like to volunteer with AAPS!

Left to Right: Leah Schrass (Historian), Loan Vu (PhD Student in COP), Nick Guadagnoli (New Student Ambassador), Claire DeWeese (Chair), Jaley Adkins (GPCR)

Field Day

June 7 2024

AAPS helped sponsor a tie-dye event at the UK College of Pharmacy field day! We had so much fun attending this event and playing various backyard games with other members of the department. Can’t wait to see everyone there again next year!

Eli Lilly Campus Visit

August 2, 2023

Our chapter took a campus visit to Eli Lilly this summer! We were able to hear more about the company and ask current scientists questions about what it’s like to work at Eli Lilly. We also took tours of the campus including the laboratory spaces and learned more about the history of the company!
